Since I am the one proposing. Will start from myself then.
Saving Water at home. Though we are not in critical stage or we are not bothered yet in Brunei. However, while working in the Mid East in consideration of the high water bills and I consider water is very valuable compare to oil. I have found ways of saving! I collect several used 1 litre plastic bottle from Pepsi, Seven-Up or any other. Cut approximately ¼ from the top. These bottle are then kept in the flush tank. This depends on the type of flush tank. I feel it can normally fits about three 1 litre bottles. Basically we are saving almost 3 litres of water per flush.
Cleaning Electric Kettles. Cleaning the scales build up on electric kettle or electric water dispenser boiler. Pour Vinegar covering where the scales has been build up. And let it boils, repeat for a number of times. Insya Allah the scales will be gone.
Items for Sale. Have a few used and brand new items to sale. But unable to list them out yet. Do check out.

ZIPLOC OMELET (This works great !!! Good for when all your family is together. The best part is that no one has to wait for their special omelet !!!) Have guests write their name on a quart-size Ziploc freezer bag with permanent marker: Crack 2 eggs (large or extra-large) into the bag (no more than 2) shake to mix. Put out a variety of ingredients such as: cheeses, ham, onion, green pepper, tomato, hash browns, salsa, etc. Each guest adds prepared ingredients of choice to their bag and shake. Make sure to get the air out of the bag and zip it up. Place the bags into rolling, boiling water for exactly 13 minutes. You can usually cook 6-8 omelets in a large pot. Open the bags and the omelet will roll out easily. Be prepared for everyone to be amazed. Nice to serve with fresh fruit and coffee cake; everyone gets involved in the process and a great conversation piece.

Travelling on Aircraft/Airlines
What are the limits for carry on baggage? There is a weight and size limitation for each passenger to ensure everything fits into the overhead stowage bins. Every year, passengers are injured when bins are opened and loose baggage falls out, as it was not stowed properly. When using overhead bins, passengers should make sure they place items inside so they lie as flat as possible and don’t overfill. Overhead stowage bins may not be able to hold very heavy objects during turbulence or a heavy landing. If a passenger has trouble lifting an item into the bin, it should be stored elsewhere. However, if the passenger is sitting in an exit row, the baggage cannot be stored under the seat in front.
I've heard the safety briefing before. Why should I listen again? The safety briefing given by cabin crew and the safety information card provided give vital information on the location of exits and emergency equipment such as lifejackets. As this can vary from one aircraft type to another, it is important to pay attention to the safety briefing and read the safety card each time a passenger flies.
What is different when I sit in an exit row? A passenger seated in an emergency exit row may be called on to assist crew members in the unlikely event of an emergency evacuation. These passengers must be: Able-bodied. At least 15 years old. Able to understand and converse in English. Willing to provide assistance in an emergency. They cannot be: Travelling with an infant. Travelling with someone who requires their assistance in an emergency Cabin crew can move a passenger if they do not meet the criteria. Passengers can ask to be moved to another seat if they are uncomfortable with the requirements of being an overwing exit row passenger.
Why are there restrictions on the use of phones and other electronic devices? All airlines restrict the use of mobile phones and other electronic devices as they could interfere with vital aircraft navigation systems. It is very important that passengers listen to announcements from the cabin crew on when these restrictions apply.
How should I behave on board an aircraft? Passengers should not use threatening, abusive or insulting language, or behave in a threatening, abusive, insulting or disorderly manner towards a member of the of the aircraft crew. Passengers must not interfere with pilots or cabin crew in the performance of their duties, interfere with aircraft equipment, or disobey any instructions given by a member of the aircraft crew. If passengers do not comply with these requirements, they could be prosecuted.
For the Non-Muslim - What happens if I drink too much alcohol? If a passenger drinks too much alcohol before a flight, the airline will refuse to let them board the aircraft. Alcohol has a greater effect on the human body at altitude than on the ground. It is an offence to enter an aircraft while drunk or to be drunk on board an aircraft. Passengers are not allowed to consume their own alcohol on board the aircraft.
Why must I remain seated until the aircraft stops? When driving your car, you never release your seatbelt until you have parked and turned off the engine – because when moving, you never know when you may have to stop suddenly. The same principle applies when the aircraft is taxiing at the airport. It too may have to stop in a hurry, so passengers must remain seated with their seatbelt fastened until the aircraft has come to a complete stop and the seatbelt sign has been turned off.

An awareness of how we make our small choices of the day is essential to develop the endurance to make intelligent decisions quickly every time. Small choices made well prepare us for the more complicated decisions that will come.
HOW MANY times have you participated in a conversation like this?
"Hello, Linda, let' get together for lunch soon."
"That would be nice. When?"
"I'll call you."
"All right, John. When will you call?"
"Next week some time."
"When?"
"At the beginning of the week. Monday . . . no, maybe Tuesday is better."
"Tuesday then?"
"I guess."
"In the morning or the afternoon?"
"Uh, the morning."
"What time?"
"Oh, 10 or 10.30."
"Great, I look forward to speaking with you before 11 on Tuesday."
It seems that making a lunch appointment would be a simple task. But most of us, with our inventory of bad habits collected through the years, have become casual with our commitments, breaking them at our convenience. Our words have no power with others or ourselves. People recognise this weakness and act accordingly. We not only close doors to opportunities but also open the gates for others to take advantage of us.
Indecisiveness is incapable of supporting great aspirations, and our ambitions become severely limited. No one likes the indecisive, not even the indecisive.
A student of mine named Shirley was in love with a man who had two girlfriends, she being one of them. He was not discreet about either woman and was amused and flattered by the jealousies he provoked. The rivals competed fiercely with each other, and each hoped to win by default due to the elimination of the other. The triangle had been in a stalemate for years, and the longer each woman competed, the greater her resentment and rage toward the other grew. Then Shirley gave the man an ultimatum: commit only to her or she would withdraw immediately. With magnificent drama, the boyfriend said he would retreat to the mountains to meditate on his decision.
I met Shirley a few days before the retreat and had a long conversation about her sense of dignity and the high cost of humiliation that she was paying for this man's love. I told her that a decent person would never place a loved one in such a diminishing position as her boyfriend had done to her. He clearly had no fundamental respect for the women or for himself. I then told her the fable of the farmer and the ass.
To simplify his chore of feeding the donkey, a farmer set two bales of hay at opposite ends of his farm. The donkey could not make up its mind which to eat first. It would walk toward one, turn to look at the other and walk back to that one. The closer it got, the more it wanted the other. Back and forth it plodded until it dropped in exhaustion and starved to death between the two bales of hay.
Shirley's face turned deep red from mortification. She made a fast and firm decision to break the relationship with the philandering boyfriend. She took away, as it were, her bale of hay. Without Shirley the other woman was not interesting to the boyfriend and he broke off with her.
Soon thereafter the man himself came to see me. "I'm so unhappy," he began.
"You? But you are the one who humiliated both of those women."
"That was their choice. And it was kind of exciting to have them hate each other because of me. Now my whole life feels crummy. I used to be important."
So, you see, another ass collapsed. Because of one woman's decision.
Most people have difficulty being decisive, not because they are weak, but because they lack the clarity to make distinctions. Some people are capable of making distinctions but are indecisive because they want opposite and conflicting outcomes. And others know what they want but lack the strength to pursue their desires.
Unless we learn to make decisions properly we will stop at new barriers and will always be afraid of taking risks. Taking a risk demands clarity and determination, not audacity as is often supposed. Making decisions without having clarity is dangerous and self-destructive. We cannot make the determination to reach certain levels of growth and elevation without the support of vision and decision-making on a daily basis. Reverend Tim Storey of the Tim Storey Ministries in Los Angeles put it best when he said "many of us are visionary heavyweights and character lightweights" to describe the notion that people want what they are not willing to build the strength or endurance to achieve. Well said.
Heavyweight Vision Requires Heavyweight Character Just as we must exercise our bodies daily for physical strength and energy, so must we exercise our mind to make choices that support our ideals. An awareness of how we make our small choices of the day is essential to develop the endurance to make intelligent decisions quickly every time. Small choices made well prepare us for the more complicated decisions that will come.
People who do not develop decisiveness often live with the belief that they are doomed to a life of unintelligent decisions and failure. They begin to suspect that something is wrong with them and become ignorant of their gifts and irresponsible for their own development. People make significant decisions without thinking and often ruin their lives, causing damage to others and negatively affecting the environment of everybody around them.
Three Types of Decisions Decisions and commitments are the twin towers of strength of character. A harmonious life of success and happiness is the result of clear and firm decisions and the determination to complete them.
There are three types of decisions and each merits its own approach. The first two require clarity as their basis; the third requires absolute mediocrity. Within these three you will find the procedure for every decision you have ever made and every decision you are yet to make.
Simple decisions are the "little things" that we choose everyday in our routine or in slight variations of that routine. Simple decisions are deciding when to take a shower, what to wear, where to sit, what to eat and drink, what time to go to bed and what time to get up. We make hundreds if not thousands of simple decisions every day. Simple decisions must be made quickly and the alternatives dismissed immediately. Simple decisions become complicated by disorder, as in the difficulty of choosing what to wear when our closet is in disarray or misplacing a bill or letter because we do not use the specific places assigned to them. Taking too long to make simple decisions means our mind is filled with chatter and clutter. There is brilliance in making quick and firm decisions and dullness in wasting time and delaying others while we linger on a small choice.
Because a decision is simple does not make it unimportant. Our simple decisions are our daily acts of improvement. These decisions must always be made intelligently, driven by a larger goal and improved constantly. Taking care of the small things at the time they need to be done sharpens the mind and develops efficiency.
Complex decisions are the big choices that will affect our lives in long term ways. These might include starting or ending a relationship, having children, choosing or changing careers, going back to school, taking a trip, making a large expenditure or moving. Complex decisions always involve advantages and disadvantages that have to be considered together. This whole view insures that we can properly weigh all the consequences simultaneously. The cost of our decision, whether it is money, time, energy or emotional wear and tear must be studied deeply so that we can discern if the price is worthy of the advantages. Complex decisions always carry a sacrifice. Whenever we go after the "big idea" of our ideals, we always give up something that is important or comfortable. Whatever we decide, we must finally face the fact that we will be under stress.
Default decisions can be the most harmful. The attitude of not making a decision produces most of our negative consequences. Not checking the car's engine can lead to being stranded on the freeway, not getting an annual physical can lead to long term health problems and not taking responsibility for your own ideals can leave you old and regretful.
All of the decisions we make represent our way of thinking and maintain the course of our life. The big ones establish defined goals toward our ideals. The small ones build the succession that makes those goals real. The default decisions build the roadblocks. It is imperative to always be aware of our ideals and let them influence our decisions. Significant decisions and choices made lightly will diminish our ideals and totally change the direction of our lives.
The thought of making complex decisions is scary. But making them is freeing.
Strength of our Language If we are vague, we can hear it in our language. The following phrases are common, and in the parenthesis are the hypothetical ideals and goals that will never be accomplished.
"Someday I will . . . (write a script)."
"I really want to . . . (learn Italian)."
"Let's get together soon . . . (to discuss that business idea)."
"Maybe I should . . . . (lose some weight)."
"I'll try, but . . . (I will never stop swearing)."
"We really need to . . . (build more intimacy)."
The saddest thing about being vague is all the wonderful things in life we choose not to experience. If our commitments are meaningless, our lives will be less abundant. That is why I tell my students to pick some goals that they are absolutely terrified of and commit to them as part of their Five Acts of Improvement. You will learn very quickly how valuable your word is to you.
Vagueness and mediocrity are part of the same cluster. If we are a serial commitment-breaker, we develop an attitude of casualness and familiarity. The vague, undefined in their language and the way they treat others are never happy with the way they are perceived. They wonder why people do not react to the carefully polished image they have created for themselves. They complain that nobody takes them seriously, or worse, they harbor secret resentment against them. Casualness and ambivalence are weaknesses. Our attitude toward our commitments establishes who we are, our level of growth and the value of what we give.
